Our Services
Inclusive, adaptive adventuring in the Alberta outdoors.
Welcome to Accessible Waters and Adventures (AWA), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for adaptive outdoor recreation in Alberta. We believe that the great outdoors should be accessible to everyone, and our services are designed to provide individuals living with disability to have independently-led adventures in the locations of their interests and with their chosen adventure partners. With a focus on meaningful experiences, the AWA team work to provide access to adaptive recreation equipment for a variety of adventures in nature. Our equipment fleet aims to support individuals to take part in outdoor activities of their interest including hiking, fishing, boating and biking and with feedback from our clients we will strive to always improve our service and range of our adaptive equipment options.

Explore outside with an adaptive recreational rental
